Human Rights Watch Defends Assault on Thai Police

Foreign-funded Human Rights Watch defends protesters who assaulted police yesterday - demand their "immediate release" despite criminal acts.

October 14, 2020 (Tony Cartalucci - ATN) - A small group of anti-government protesters attempting to block a royal motorcade by obstructing public roads, resorted to violence when they threw buckets of blue paint in the faces of police attempting to maintain order - then threw the metal paint buckets at the heads of police officers.

The blatant act of assault resulted in the arrest of several protesters - though police allowed those remaining to continue with their protest after it moved off the road allowing traffic to finally pass through.

In virtually every photo of the small, ineffective protest - the blue paint can be seen staining the road and covering police as well as protesters also splashed by it.

Yet the Western media and Western-funded front posing as "human rights" organizations including Human Rights Watch - funded in part by billionaire George Soros, a convicted financial criminal - have attempted to depict the patience of police and their eventual arrest of those carrying out violence as a violation of "freedom of expression and peaceful assembly."

HRW in their own article even includes 2 photos of yesterday's incident with the blue paint seen covering the ground and the uniforms of police. They depict the mob which assaulted police as a "peaceful protest."

But if someone threw a bucket of paint into the face of HRW staff in Thailand then threw the metal bucket at their head, would HRW refrain from calling the police or taking to their website to claim they were being harassed, assaulted, and that those involved were criminals? No they wouldn't - and they often claim that merely disagreeing with them publicly is a form of "harassment."

Human Rights Watch does not defend human rights. It helps advance the self-serving political agenda of its financial sponsors merely by hiding behind the notion of human rights advocacy.

In many cases, the organization and others like it - including Amnesty International - ignore real human rights abuses such as assault by yesterday's protesters against police attempting to maintain order.

Organizations that are not fulfilling their mission statement but merely hiding behind it to carry out other activities such as foreign-funded political lobbying should have their credentials cancelled and be forced to re-register as lobbyists. Human Rights Watch - funded entirely by foreign interests - should also be forced to register as foreign agents. In an age where "fake news" is no longer tolerated - why should entirely fake organizations be tolerated?
