How Many US Gov-Funded Fronts Can The Nation Mention in One Article?

Will the media do its job and ask who is being funded by the US to attack Thailand's government and institutions and why?

August 10, 2020 (Tony Cartalucci - ATN) - It is an amazing feat to write an entire article about Thailand's opposition, mentioning three different individuals or organizations but never mentioning that all three are funded by the US government via fronts like the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) - especially when they are involved in attacking and undermining Thailand's highest institutions.

Yet that is precisely what English-language Thai newspaper The Nation did in their article, "Refusing to bow to pressure, Anon continues questioning role of monarchy," where they lionize the middle aged lawyer leading supposedly youthful "student" protests. Anon Nampa, Nidhi Aeusriwong, and Prachatai are all cited in the article and all three are part of US NED-funded activities in Thailand.

The Nation never mentions this funding once.

It is only through consistent lies of omission that the illusion of legitimacy regarding these protests can be maintained.

Mention of the protest's foreign backing or the fact that they aim to reinstall the ousted regime of billionaire fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra - worst human rights violator in Thailand's history - would undermine their alleged cause of "human rights" and "democracy."

Image: Some of the fronts funded by the US NED. Many are also funded by convicted financial criminal George Soros' Open Society Foundation, the British government, as well as several EU-member governments. All are currently involved in supporting protests including direct material support and supplying members who literally lead the protests like TLHR's Anon Nampa.
Image: NED is either sponsored by or has board members representing the above special interests - ranging from arms manufacturers to big-oil and big-banks, hardly true champions of democracy, but certainly interests that benefit by hiding behind notions like promoting democracy.
The US NED is far from a "democracy promoting" organization - lined top to bottom by representatives of America's arms, oil, and financial sectors as well as prominent pro-war advocates including Elliot Abrams. Just like the anti-government protesters in Thailand, their NED sponsors merely hide behind principles like "democracy" rather than uphold them in any way.
