Media Notes Parit "Penguin" Chiwarak's Arrest - Refuses to Discuss His Background

Parit "Penguin" Chiwarak is a "student activist" with a surprising number of billionaire & foreign friends eager to take the current government's place.

August 15, 2020 (Tony Cartalucci - ATN) - The media was very quick to report on Parit "Penguin" Chiwarak's arrest by Thai law enforcement as well as the online "outrage" in the form of the US-linked anti-Chinese "Milk Tea Alliance," though the media is careful not to discuss what the latter actually is.

The media also doesn't discuss who Parit is beyond being a "student activist."

Friend of Foreign Meddlers and Corrupt Billionaires

Parit is in fact the founder of the so-called "Student Union of Thailand" (SUT) and a long time supporter of fugitive billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra, his various political proxies - including Thaksin-nominee, billionaire Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit.

The SUT is in turn simply a rebranding of Thaksin Shinawatra's ultra-violent street front - the "red shirts."

Parit and the SUT regularly cooperate with foreign-funded fronts including Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR) whose staff member Anon Nampa also co-leads protests, iLaw who is attempting to rewrite Thailand's constitution, and Prachatai which provides lopsided coverage of ongoing protests.

All three are extensively funded by the US government via the notorious regime change front - the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

Parit has revealed on his own Facebook account that he has visited the UK embassy at least twice and a Germany embassy event at least once.

He also regularly meets with and cooperates with US government-funded fronts and regularly attends rallies organized by Thaksin Shinawatra's various political parties. This includes his participation in literal "red shirt" rallies in the past.

Image: Billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra's violent "red shirt" street front annually attempts to rewrite the narrative of 2010 violence in which 300 of their militants triggered gun battles in the streets of Bangkok leading to the death of nearly 100 and widespread arson. Parit "Penguin" Chiwarak pictured above is a regular attendee, attempting to portray the violence as a one-sided "military crackdown."
Parit is also regularly seen coordinating with Thaksin-nominee billionaire Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit. Thanathorn of the now defunct Future Forward Party vowed to take to the streets after losing elections and having his corrupt party dissolved in the courts.

Image: Nothing could say "grassroots" protests less than Parit's closest ally being a billionaire who promised to create havoc in the streets after losing elections and being tied up in court. The woman pictured bottom/left is literally in bed with a senior leader of Thaksin Shinawatra's Pheu Thai Party and the other "student activist" Thanawat (top/right) is an open admirer and supporter of both Thaksin and Yingluck Shinawatra.

Parit and his SUT is the manifestation of this threat of street action.

Parit is - therefore - in no way merely a "student activist." He is a "student" who has lent himself to corrupt, meddling foreign interests abroad and the most corrupt interests within Thailand - a billionaire fugitive guilty of the worst human rights offenses in Thai history and a nepotist billionaire who openly violated election laws in pursuit of political power.

Image: Parit (second from left) stands next to Pannika "Chor" Wanich - spokeswoman and MP of billonaire Thanathorn's Future Forward Party.
The most ironic aspect of the collective opposition Parit represents is its anti-Chinese roots - with Parit's SUT regularly promoting the lastest accusations against China made by the US State Department and SUT's patron - Thanathorn vowing during elections to cancel major Thai-Chinese projects in favor of fantastical US alternatives - the canceling of Chinese-built high-speed rail in favor of the nonexistent "hyperloop" being one example.

Image: Not only does Parit aid and abet US-funded sedition in Thailand, he is a fan of anti-Chinese US-funded sedition abroad. Here he is pictured with Joshua Wong - a US-funded agitator in Hong Kong whose method of violent, coercive protests Parit and others at SUT seek to replicate in Thailand.

So while protesters lament over Thailand's economy - they are enemies of Thailand's largest and most important economic partner - China - while providing absolutely no alternative for the massive amount of trade, investment, tourism, and infrastructure development China is actually providing Thailand.

The bias Western media and their Thai partners will not discuss Parit's background or his true agenda. And now we know why.
